I (Nicci) have been a chef  for 15 years I was trained by the
well known Roux brothers in London.  I have worked in the UK
and abroad, Thailand, Mauritius, South and East Africa. I have
now settled down in Cranbrook with my partner Jules.
    Jules is the driving force behind Home-Gurrown, he has a
    degree in environmental studies and has worked our piece
    of land for the last 8 years. As well as being a known
    face, he helps his family run the local farmers market.
    This is on the fourth Saturday of every month in the
    Cranbrook Vestry Hall. You may have seen our faces there.
    We also go along to  Rolvenden every thursday morning
    between 10 am and 12 as well as Edgerton on a Friday
    afternoon, between 2 and 4.30pm.
    Its very simple Jules grows it, and I cook it..  I sell
    quiches, salads, gluten, wheat and dairy free ready meals
    and soups, which you can purchase at the above farmers
    Not to mention Julians beautiful flowers, which you can
    also buy from the farmers markets, or from our kiosk on
    the golford road,  I can also  deliver locally, for that
    special occasion .
    I make all our produce from our own chemical free
    vegetables, lamb and fruit. As well as using local
    ingredients such as hastings fresh fish, free range turkey,
    free range eggs, cranbrook windmill flour, Hinxden dairy
    cream, and local cheese.
    Not forgetting our well known chili plants, herbaceous
    plants, and herbs, which can be purchased directly from
    the farm kiosk.
